Automatic Data Quality Validations
To make sure that all emission calculations and regulation values are correct, Emission+ tries to automatically check your report data for data quality issues.
The system can be configured to notify the crew on board about severe quality issues via email.
Completeness
SDBNet will create incomplete reports while operators enter report data, which may find its way into Emission+. We flag any reports that are incomplete, as they often have invalid or incomplete values and will therefore severely impact further calculations.
Recent ROB Sounding
Most regulations are dealing with net consumption values. To make sure that gross and net consumption aren't diverging, vessel operators have to regularly perform measurements of fuels remaining on board.
Sounding should be performed at least once a month, and preferably way more frequently. Our system will flag any report that is not covered by a sufficiently close future sounding report.
